Hyperbolic Grumpy Guts is crochet out of acrylic yarn, and cotton thread. His eyeball and eyebrow were sewn on after he was completed. He is not stuffed. Hyperbolic Grumpy Guts measures 13 inches (33 cm) long and is 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide and the red section. His body is roughly 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) wide.
The red and pink (or math) area of Hyperbolic Grumpy Guts is done with the idea of a hyperbolic plane. N=2 in his case, which means roughly that I increased this piece every 2 stitches for the hyperbolic plane effect.
